Set Up:

Start by laying out the craft paper across your table. Depending on the size you get, you may need to cut two sheets and you will have a seam down the middle but that’s okay!

Next you will start spacing out each of your Valentine’s goodies in piles across your craft paper. Be sure to leave enough room between your goodies to add some fun text. I tried to use a good variety of sweet and salty, fruity and chocolatey.

After you get the goodies spaced out how you want them, go in and add some text with your paint marker. I wanted to use some fun Valentine sayings like Be Mine, XOXO, and Gal Pals, just to name a few.  I also included some tic-tac-toe grids for the X & O shaped goodies. You could also just simply write the name of each of the goodies, whichever you prefer.

This last step is totally unnecessary but if you want to get some pictures and add a little extra Valentine’s flare, you can throw up a simple back drop behind your charcuterie spread. I used a super simple paper streamer kit from Target for this particular back drop. I also have some additional ideas you could use in this blog post here

Their faces were seriously priceless when they saw all the fun goodies laid out for them and it made for the best pictures and the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. With how simple this set up was and how great their reaction, this is definitely something I will do again for future holidays.

Side Note: This was obviously a pretty big set up for just 4 little mouths so I did save everything that was left over and made a little Valentine’s snack mix to have throughout the week.

As always, thank you for reading and happy week of love! xoxo
